BIOGRAPHY
Jack Kelly is a seasoned leader, coach, and visionary with more than three decades of experience guiding individuals, teams, and organizations toward lasting growth and success. He is the Co-Founder and CEO of the DayStar Foundation, a center for growth and change established in 1990, and the Founder and President of Opus One Coaching Group, launched in 1992.
Alongside his wife and business partner, Dr. Julia Kelly, Jack has spent 35 years building both a thriving family and a legacy of impact. Together, they have four children, nine grandchildren, and a shared passion for equipping others to reach their fullest potential.
Jack’s executive coaching portfolio includes work with professional athletes in Major League Baseball and the NFL, as well as leaders from Fortune 500 companies such as Home Depot, Matria Health Care, The Hanger Company, Patterson Dental, Artistic Stone, Calhoun Metal Works, and Vytex. His extensive client base ranges from CEOs and senior executives to entrepreneurs and solopreneurs, helping each one master the mindset and strategies needed for high-level performance.
A pioneer in Christian counseling and coaching education, Jack founded and developed the Logos Graduate School’s Counseling Program and, with Julia, launched Life Changing University, a school of coaching. Together, they created the Mastering the Mindset for Success home study course and seminar, and are certified in multiple professional assessments, including the Temperament Analysis Profile, The Print Assessment, and The Values Assessment. Jack is also the author of several books, including So You Want to Be a Coach and God’s Blueprint for Marriage, and is a sought-after speaker nationwide.
Jack’s influence extends to the professional counseling community as the founder of the Georgia Christian Counselors Association and the Board of Examiners for Georgia Christian Counselors and Therapists, where he has served as Chairman since 1993. An ordained minister, he blends faith-based principles with practical strategies to inspire transformation in both personal and professional settings.
Beyond his professional achievements, Jack has enjoyed a lifelong involvement in football officiating, serving as a high school and college referee for 44 years and holding the role of President of the Georgia Football Officials Association in 1989.
